Tourism-dependent destinations in the Global South are highly vulnerable to natural disasters due to limited institutional capacity, fragmented governance, and economic over-reliance. The 2018 North Lombok earthquake disrupted local livelihoods, governance, and tourism, directly impacting SDGs 8.9 (sustainable tourism), 11.5 and 11.b (resilience), 16.6 and 16.7 (institutions), and 17.17 (partnerships). Addressing this gap, this study investigates how network governance supports disaster-resilient tourism planning in post-earthquake North Lombok. Employing an explanatory qualitative case study with Social Network Analysis (SNA), data were collected through interviews, document analysis, participant observation, and stakeholder mapping across government, business, community, NGO, and academic actors. Findings reveal a collaborative network where the Regional Development Planning Agency and Tourism Office serve as central brokers linking disaster management, tourism development, and economic recovery. However, community participation and gender-inclusive decision-making remain uneven. This study demonstrates that effective disaster-resilient tourism depends on strong inter-organisational networks, cross-sectoral collaboration, and adaptive governance, offering crucial insights for sustainable governance in disaster-prone regions.
