PPISHK E-Journal System Portal is an e-journal management and publishing system published by Pusat Penelitian Ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora Kontemporer. In 2020, Pusat Penelitian Ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora Kontemporer published the Journal of Contemporary Governance and Public Policy which discussed issues of contemporary governance and public policy, particularly in global south countries. In 2022, Pusat Penelitian Ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora Kontemporer will also publish the Journal of Contemporary Local Politics which discusses contemporary local politics issues, particularly in developing and emerging countries.

Pusat Penelitian Ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora Kontemporer is a research institute that focuses on contemporary social studies and humanities. This institution was legally registered on February 27, 2020 at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia with the number AHU-0004757.AH.01.12.Tahun 2020. 

The activities of Pusat Penelitian Ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora Kontemporer do not only focus on research and publications. Scientific meetings and network development activities such as the International Conference, International Virtual Series, and collaboration with reputable international research networks are also the focus of the activities carried out.

Journal of Contemporary Governance and Public Policy

Journal of Contemporary Governance and Public Policy, with registered numbers ISSN 2722-3981 (Print) and ISSN 2722-3973 (Online), is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published twice a year in April and October by Pusat Penelitian Ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora Kontemporer, Indonesia.

Journal of Contemporary Governance and Public Policy aims to provide an international academic platform for addressing contemporary issues in governance and public policy within the contexts of planning, decision-making, and evaluation from the perspectives and experiences of the Global South. It seeks to promote scholarly, theoretical, practical, and contemporary research that offers a distinct conceptual and methodological contribution to the existing international literature.

The articles published in Journal of Contemporary Governance and Public Policy have been double-blind reviewed by peer reviewers. The decision on whether the scientific article is accepted or not in this journal will be the Editorial Board’s decision based on the peer reviewer's recommendation. Submissions that focus on the governance or policy-based dynamics of any of these levels or units of analysis in a way that interestingly and effectively brings together conceptual analysis and empirical findings are welcome.
